A Doctor of Business Management (DBM) is a terminal academic credential that focuses on advanced theories and practices in the field of business management. Although the qualification provides training for an academic career, the purpose of the Doctor of Business Management (DBM) qualification is also to develop researchers who can contribute meaningfully to the body of knowledge in the field of business and ultimately participate in addressing complex socio-economic, local and global challenges. The DBM qualification will develop researchers with advanced research competencies and specialisation who can engage theoretically, practically, and innovatively on critical issues in the field of business.

Minimum Requirements
- A completed application form
- A resume/curriculum vitae and motivation letter
- Certified copies of the degree certificate and academic transcript of relevant master’s degree from an accredited institution, with a mark of at least 65% for either: both the modules and dissertation of master’s degree, or the dissertation of a full research project
- Statement of research intent: Brief outline of what the applicant intends to research. Upon submission, the Academic Head will evaluate the candidate.
