UCT - Graduate School of Business

Overview:

If you’re a visionary, a change maker, and you want to innovate to build sustainable solutions for social, economic and environmental challenges, the Master of Philosophy specialising in Inclusive Innovation (MPhil) is the degree for you. You’ll immerse yourself in a process of transformation – personal and professional – to prepare you to participate in a transforming and evolving world. The MPhil is an interdisciplinary research degree where academic rigour meets practical application to create a more inclusive economy. The programme culminates in the development of a dissertation, including a praxis model that focuses on developing sustainable new solutions for social challenges. You’ll join like-minded ground-breakers working alongside a supervisor on your dissertation and in teams, on ‘living lab’ modules, investigating inspiring new ideas and possibilities.

  • Applicants must hold at least an NQF level 8 qualification in Applied Science, Commerce, Humanities, Health Sciences, Arts, and other related degrees.
