Overview:
While projects are now recognised to achieve competitive advantage within organisations in South Africa, across Africa and beyond, project management remains a Cinderella field. On average, 8 out of 10 project managers are accidental appointments or have an inadequate project management (PM) knowledge base. The one-year PGD PM programme, is borne out of realities facing organisations and should be an appropriate ‘vaccine’ to challenges of service delivery across all local authorities, provincial governments, ministries, and state-owned enterprises; and challenges facing the private sector of delivering value for money. It is envisaged that graduates will become the foot soldiers to provide the needed vaccine.

Minimum Requirements
- Three-year, 360-credit Bachelor's Degree or National Higher Diploma or Advanced Diploma, accredited by the CHE or from an accredited institution equivalent to NQF level 7. Please also supply a certified copy of degree as well as transcript, indicating the symbol or percentage obtained for each module and indicating whether or not the qualification was completed.
- A recent detailed Curriculum Vitae, indication TWO years or more managerial/professional work experience.
- Supply a clear certified copy of Identity document or Passport. A copy of driver’s license will NOT be accepted.
- If you are a sponsored student, include a letter from your sponsor indicating that they are responsible for your tuition fees.
- The Graduate School of Business Leadership may institute additional selection criteria as deemed necessary.
